The Millstone restaurant opened in 2007 in what was originally built as a gift shop for the mill museum. The menu features handmade Italian Gelato made the way ice cream was intended, low in butterfat, dense, creamier texture, and intense flavors. Trained by Italian Gelato Master, Luciano Ferrari, the Millstone employees make the gelato in-house with fresh ingredients. The Millstone also features locally brewed specialty beers produced by Central Waters Brewery in Amherst. Friday and Saturday nights after 5:30 the Millstone serves handmade pizza.
